Terry is a qualified counsellor providing contemporary approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. The practice is Canberra based conveniently located in the heart of the city at Civic.

Terry has worked in private, public and not for profit organisations and has many years’ experience in school settings. His client base is children, adolescents, adults and seniors specialising in anxiety and depression, child and adolescent counselling, grief and loss, trauma related issues, career and workplace issues.

Terry takes a non-judgemental compassionate approach and feels privileged to work with people. He values listening above all else and helps clients formulate plans to address issues raised. Terry tries to make counselling a positive experience by exploring values that can lead to positive change.


Terry is trained in a variety therapeutic approaches and can draw from the following modalities. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Career Counselling.
